C2C Expo

The 2017 C2C Expo is will be held on Tuesday 31 October at the Golden Grove Arts & Recreation Centre.

Last year's Expo was attended by approximately 500 students from 23 of the C2C high schools.

The Expo was attended by representatives from industry, education and government. Guests visited the exhibits and chatted with students about their projects, including:

  • His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC
  • Tony Zappia MP
  • John Gardner MP
  • Mayor Glenn Docherty, City of Playford
  • Mayor Kevin Knight, City of Tea Tree Gully

Teresa Janowski, General Manager, of NAMIG formally presented representatives from each school with a plaque to commemorate their participation in the C2C programme in 2016.

The Expo is the final stage of the year's C2C projects and gives students the opportunity to showcase their innovations. Teams proudly exhibited their projects in the main auditorium, explaining how they came up with the concept and what problems they encountered along the way.


C2C+ projects were also on display and presentations were made to winners of the 2016 C2C+ industry challenges:

  • Exploration Challenge
  • Wetlands Environment Mangement (WEM) Challenge (Industry Parnter - BAE Systems)
  • Vehicle Efficiency Challenge (Industry Partner - Holden)
  • Drone Challenge (Industry Partner - SA Power Networks)
